Dennis Riggins.  I was privileged to witness first hand the dangerous and difficult work he did every day.  He taught me many things that his career with DPS imparted upon him; such as live justly, love others and be true to your word.  I will do my best to personify these lessons.”

Ruth has worked four summers and three winter breaks for DPS, and she asked to be considered for a scholarship because with financial assistance, she “would be able to graduate from college and return to the DPS to begin [her] career in the DPS Human Resources Department.”
